Taro Hotel new built. The main facility was developed on approximately 400 square meters of land, (Chanote title) and consists of (8) 1BR/1BA studio apartments of approximately 54 square meters with private balconies and (1) penthouse, 2BR/1.5 BA, of approximately 250 square meters. All of these units have fully equipped kitchenettes, furniture, aircon, ceiling fans, western appliances and fixtures, international cable flat screen TV, Wi-fi, and all are separately metered.
There is a swimming pool of approximately 35 square meters and a patio garden area at this complex. It was completed in November 2010 and was fully booked during its first high season by mostly long term guests from Italy, France, and Denmark. The minimum stay was 30 days, most were 60 days.
Each of the nine rooms has a registered house address. They can be sold or leased as such. The project is Thai Freehold.
Structural support is in place to develop a fourth floor, as permitted in Kamala. This could offer panoramic sea views if developed.
On an adjoining approximately 400 square meters of land (Chanote), we developed (8) bungalow rooms and an office/lounge that were completed in January, 2011. They also are all separately metered. This facility reached peak occupancy in January, February, and April with overwhelming positive responses. We have a long term lease (30 years) with an option to purchase this property.
There are other adjoining parcels we are currently negotiating to purchase in order to have the ability to expand the business with a pa and restaurant. Other parcels are available for connecting residential development.
